Learning Reflection And Holiday stuff

Hi... I have had an awesome holiday how about you.
First of all I have learnt a lot about decimals and integers. These are the things that I learnt. I Learnt how to add, subtract and put them in order, and by the way I get really stuck on these things. With integers I learnt what integers are. I also learnt how to multiply and divide them. E.G -6 x -3 = 18 and 12 / -4 = -3. The / means divide. I also learnt that if there are two negative it equals a positive number and if there is one positive number and one negative number it equals a negative answer.

Some of the stuff I got up to in the holidays.

First of all on Friday in the first week I went to the maze in Auckland that is next to spookers. I went there with Te Awamutu Kids Zone. I did a lot of other stuff in the first week of the holidays with Kids Zone but that one was the funnest. In the second week We did baking on Monday this was getting ready for our kids zone camp. From Tuesday to Friday we were at Lake Karipiro at Finlay park. on Tuesday we arrived there at about 3:30pm and we unpacked and got our cabins all nice. The cabins had a wooden floor and halve a wooden wall and then the rest of the walls were canvas material and the roof was just a normal roof. That day we went to a water slide that went into the lake it was cool beside the fact that it was so long that you went really fast down it and you got a wedgie but if you went down on a boggy board you would go skimming along the water. We also had bush walk in the night time it was scary on some of it because if you fell it would hurt a lot. We also did a lot of other stuff but I can't name it all.
I have learnt a lot about decimals and fractions over the last few weeks that we have been at school.
I also would like to say that i got into the Belmont football team for school and the WIMS football team.

Hi I'm Back From Wellington And Have A Lot To Tell You About

Hi this is some of the few things we did on camp

Wellington Zoo

when we were at wellington zoo we visited the Chimpanzees, and they were cool besides a couple times some of them went all crazy on the other Chimpanzees. they were banging on the doors of their enclosure. It was scary because one of the crazy Chimpanzees chased a mother with her tiny baby Chimpanzee. Their was a Chimpanzee that stood on top of a really wobbly pole and was swinging its arms in the air and it looked like it thought it was King Kong. We also saw a porcupine and it was huge and it was black and white it was in the enclosure with the Meercats. That was part of the Australia section. We also saw Giraffes they were huge and cool. There were tigers and they were growling at each other luckily there was a fence between them otherwise that would have gotten messy.

Parliament

The Parliament was funny because everyone was yelling at the government. we also had a tour guide who toke us to a room that was were we meet the MP of Taranaki kings country. What I was looking forward to was seeing John Key but he wasn't in the room but his place was set up with a drink and paper there so I figured he was there earlier but he wasn't any more.

On TV / Media Lab  

If you want to see the video we made it is on you tube you search up capital E once upon a crime  Te Awamutu Intermediate. There are two groups.

with media lab we made a 3D movie. With the movie we first made some hills with tools, and by the way this was on the computer. second we put some detail in it like rock texture and other textures we also put rivers and houses and trees in. It was really fun and confusing. With the on TV we made a TV show called far away land once upon a crime. I was the beast in beauty and the beasts interview.

Hi... This Is A Carry On From My Portrait Poem.

I just want to start of by saying that congratulations to those who got into the production, and that I know you guys will do a great job, and I did not get a main part in production but I am an extra and that is still pretty cool.If you have been watching my blogs you will know that I love soccer, and that I am trying out for the inter intermediate girls soccer team. I am almost finished my Gallipoli writing just need to fix up some mistakes. I am really excited about this weekend because we are going to wellington on Sunday and coming back on Friday. This is for our class camp. When we go on camp we do a lot of activities and here are some,we go to wellington zoo, we are going to Te Papa if you don't know what that is it is the museum, and we are also going to cable cars Lambton Quay. On camp we are staying in really small cabins,and that means we only have enough space to have one person walking in between the bunk beds at a time and we don't have much space at the end of our beds.. I also want to say that I am having a really good time in jump jam and I hope you are to. ( Next post week 9)

HEY! This Is What I Have Been Doing And My Opportunities

Hi.... Just wanna say that I got into extension art YAY and that PUNIU IS GOING TO WIN. I also wanted to say that I love soccer and that I have been asked to try out for the rep team. I have joined the school band and I am doing french with Mrs Shaw. I have learnt how say my name in french. Also in tech arts I have been doing music and it is awesome, we have been learning how to play the keyboard and drums. We had a music exam by that I mean we had to play something on the drums and keyboard. We also had to answer Questions. On the second week of tech art we had to dance with the boys. I am having a great time at intermediate and have had a lot of opportunities and I know there will be a lot more. At the moment I am learning how to play the flute and I think I am doing pretty well but I am a little shy to play it in front of people. I have had a go at production but I did not sing because I hate singing by myself in front of people but I am fine singing in a group. We are doing a piece of writing about Gallipoli. (next post on Thursday)

Week 2 Term 1

Hi everyone.
My reflection to 2015...
 I have made a lot of new friends and I have learnt a lot of new things, like some jump jam moves and songs. I have also learnt about place, face and total value and how to expand numbers. With place value I have learnt that it is the column the number is in, tens, thousands etc. With face value I learnt that it is what number it is, for example, in 185, the face value of the 8 is just 8. With total value I have learnt that it is face value times total value. I also have learnt how to use blogs. I've learnt my way around the school and in music I have learnt how to play some songs on the keyboard. I have learnt that intermediate is a really busy place and if I don't pay attention to everything I could miss out on things that I want to do. I am in Puniu house and we are going to win this year! We do tech arts on Tuesdays and Fridays, and with music I learnt how to read music notes.
